The Ontario Government chose CSC to evaluate and recommend textbooks for English-language schools in the province. The evaluation is required for government approval and posting on the  Ontario Trillium List.

CSC evaluates learning resources for all ages and for all settings, including preschool, K-12, the workplace, and adult learning. CSC evaluates all formats including print, multimedia, and e-learning applications.

Our evaluation process has three levels of checks and balances to ensure consistency and fairness. After a rigorous evaluation process, approved learning resources earn the CSC Seal of quality. The CSC Seal has become a recognized standard and many professionals insist on the Seal before they purchase supplementary resources.

CSC has worked on a number of awards programs taking on varying responsibilities such as project management of the nomination process, development of awards criteria, development of scoring tools to shortlist candidates, managing the shortlisting process, and facilitating the final selection process.

CSC has created standardized methods for program management, including application management, short-listing, data management, and all elements of applicant relationship management.

Projects include the Premier’s Awards for Teaching Excellence (Ontario Ministry of Education), the Premier’s Safe Schools Awards (Ontario Ministry of Education), and the Canadian Studies Program Funding Competition (Department of Canadian Heritage).
